Monkey Bars

I don’t like the monkey bars… Why? Well, I might point to the fact that lifting girls onto monkey bars constantly is work. Or the fact that watching them fall is terrifying. Or I could even be honest with you and admit that I hate them because I could never do them! (Oakley’s hula hoop dominance will be a matter for another post too!)

    I love the determination that’s on her face in every single photo – she’s a girl on a mission! Her little arms are going to ripped! I hate the monkey bars as well – a source of endless shame on the grade school playground. Elena, like Lindy, didn’t inherit that from me. We once spent a good portion of a preschool conference at age 3 discussing her teacher’s “concern” about her antics on the monkey bars. I think the hula hoop post calls for some video – of Oakley and you!
