So I've been sporadically sorting through old pictures, and thought I would share some funny ones as I see them.

Slumbering all around

Aspen, too, enjoys her new slumber bag.

Like Oakley, Aspen is enjoying the bulletin board from Grammie and Grandpa and the salsa CD. Her personal favorites that are different from Oak's include her new bike from Santa and a Predator's jersey! 

The Oak Emerges

Oakley is emerging from her new slumber bag, a gift from Nana.

Some other Oakley favorites included a print making kit from Aunt Jenni and family, beach equipment from Aunt Karen and family, Duplo's from Santa, a personalized salsa CD from Uncle Brian, and a personalized bulletin board from Grammie and Grandpa.

Amazing Lindy

Lindy is simply amazing. I'm serious. Often this blog is comprised of heavily biased, excessively positive opinions regarding my children. This one contains no bias at all.

Jenn and I have spent the last week complimenting this kid all the time. Over the last several weeks, Lindy had some congestion and just powered through it. Since that has diminished, she has been sleeping like a CHAMP. Seriously, last night she fed at 10pm. It is now 7:30 and she's been asleep the whole time. Yes, I checked, she's still alive and asleep.

On top of that, she's just cool to be with. She's got this great quirkly smile (that I'll try to catch with a camera again soon) and she gives it out regularly. Jenn calls her a ham. Aspen, follows with, "Lindy, you're a piece of salmon."

When dress-up abounds, so does the nekkidness.

OK, not every girl takes her best 3rd birthday picture without a shirt on, but I thought this captured Oakley pretty well.

Oak was sweet... when everyone sang to her, she got totally shy. It was cute.

This picture is being published only because the face has been obscured. Oakley's birthday party included lots of fun including some excellent dress up. Either Sean or Ryan had it going on here. 

"Mommy, Oakley's asleep"

So, Aspen and Oakley were eating lunch the other day. We had gone to the Predators' game the night before, so the girls were tired.

Jenn was sitting at the computer. After a while, Aspen said, "Mommy, Oakley's asleep." Jenn thought, "Whatever..."

Little did she know, Oakley had literally fallen asleep on the table next to her plate, apple still in hand.
