Lindy's baptism was a big success, and it garnered a big crowd as well. Families present here (in addition to ours): Haile's, Martin's, Watson's, Hickman's, Kirk's.

Part two of the Kinderdance show moved from ballet over to tap. Here's Aspen in her solo moment...

The big week for Aspen continued with a showcase of what she's done in her Kinderdance class. 

A "Graduate"

Well, it's the culmination of 2 hard years of work at Brentwood Methodist Day School, but Aspen's done it. Barring a last day catastrophe, Aspen will have graduated with highest honors on Tuesday... 

What kind of kick?

"Daddy, did you see what I did? I did a honky kick!" We are from Nashville and all, but I think Oakley meant to say she did a donkey kick.

Paletas

OK, we've probably mentioned paletas in this space previously. They are basically mexican popsicles, and they come in numerous flavors. Yesterday, at dinner, we were just pondering the flavor options. Keep in mind, they already offer Peanut Butter Banana and Avocado and Hibiscus, so we let our minds wander a bit...

Well, Oakley declared that she wanted "Christopher Robin". Now, in all likelihood, her mind was thinking of songs. Each night, I let the girls choose a song for me to sing. Oakley often choose "The House at Pooh Corner", which she calls "Christopher Robin". So, paleta... Christopher Robin.

Since none of us knew what that would taste like, we asked Oakley. "Oakley, what would that taste like?"

Oakley: "Cats."

Um, yeah, well, all I could come up with was, "Yuk."
