Retrospective: JKA visit
Well, now that we've recovered from the picture posting problems, I thought I'd throw out a few pictures from some older stuff. Here you can see Kiana running down a wall at Radnor Lake... We had a great visit with Jenni, Ange, and Kiana... Posted by Picasa

Oakley's Halloween Party
Oakley had her own rocking Halloween party. Check it out too.

Aspen's Halloween Party
Jenn put a lot of work into Aspen's Halloween party at school, and it seems to have come out great. Check it out here.

Our Purple Fairy
And Oakley is, shockingly, a purple fairy...  Posted by Picasa

The Happy Witch
Could Aspen be anything other than a happy witch?  Posted by Picasa

Old School Lindy
This is just an old picture of Lindy, but I wanted to test something with Picasa, so I decided to share it. Enjoy! Posted by Picasa

"I know some Spanish!"
So, we're riding along in the car. We've had a full day of soccer, tire swings, playing, etc. Jokingly, I said to Jenn, "Alright, are you ready to go to the P-R-E-D-S game?" I didn't really want to go, partly because the girls were really tired at this point.

Aspen, whose "reading" skills are burgeoning, said "That made me think of the Predators when you said that."

"Well," I said, "that's because I spelled Preds... That's really good, Aspen."

Following a belly laugh that conveyed her belief that she was ready to take over the world, she said, "I know some Spanish!"

Grammie!
Do you think Grammie and Lindy enjoy each other? Posted by Picasa

OK, so this picture lacks a bit of focus, but I had to put it up here for two reasons...

1. You can tell Lindy is digging on her cake (all credit goes to our personal cake maker, Jane Butcher. Thanks, Jane!)

2. Everyone says Lindy looks so much like me. I can even see it. There's a picture of me at my parents' house when I was like 6 at a football game where I'm holding up the number one... It's a spitting image... Posted by Picasa

Another tower
Alright, here's a partially completed picture of the newest tower. Look, six kids, and it's still standing... Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday, Lindy!
That's right, folks, Lindy is one year old today. Congratulations to you, Lindy. We love you. Posted by Picasa

She learned it from her sisters
OK, I think this comes from watching her sisters... Lindy was playing with a bunch of little puppets today, and Oakley walked into the room. Lindy's first response was to try to pick up and hold as many of them as she could. I must say, she did quite a good job of it... Posted by Picasa

Motion is the name of the game these days with Lindy. She goes where she wants, when she wants...

Crawling with speed is the current mode of transportation, but walking isn't far away. If she has the stroller, she walks wherever she wants... until Oakley takes it away... Posted by Picasa

Here's a shot of Oakley on her first day of school (which was a month or so ago). This is her teacher Miss Sherry. We had no doubt that Oakley was ready for school and she definitely loves it. Posted by Picasa
