Big South Fork, with details...
Alright, so here are a few more pictures of the trip, including a bunch of wildflowers (that hike, frankly, was just about the only time I remember to take out the camera). But, you'll get the flavor. Beforehand, Oakley was really looking forward to sharing a tent with me. I think, surprisingly, it actually was fun for her, even with 40 degree nights. Enjoy. Thanks to Wesley Roberts and all of the people who help put this stuff on (Vera, Geraline, etc...) We really had a great time, and the girls are asking already if they can go next year. Big South Fork
Check out the girls... we're hiking along in the Big South Fork with folks from Hillsboro High School. This is part of the Angel Falls Overlook trail, and we had a great time. The girls joined me for the first time this year (Aspen and Oakley) and plan on joining me in the future. More pictures to follow. Labels: aspen, camping, oakley
Cupcakes
Ya know what else Lindy likes a lot? Cupcakes... Neither Jenn nor I gave it to her, either, so she might be a thief as well... Labels: lindy
Lindy's Easter
Do you think Lindy liked this? Absolutely, she was all over some eggs in the toddler area, and loved every minute of it. She also likes to say, "Egg!" a great deal. Labels: easter, lindy
Oakley's Pile
The eggs were everywhere. Seriously. Oakley found herself a nice bunch. And yes, it was cold this year. As in 42 degrees! Labels: easter, oakley
Easter Pary 2007
Check out the crowds at the Easter party this year! We had about 100 people flood our house and yard for some serious hunting. Pictures of our girls will follow. Happy Easter! Labels: easter, faithbuilders, family
Map In Progress
OK. I've always thought it was really cool when people put maps up with push pins representing every place they'd been in their life or something. (Cool enough that we have one in our house.) But I gotta say, this is even cooler. Google Maps allows you to do this on their maps now. Check this out. Even cooler, you can add stuff to the map. Zoom in on the USVI in the lower right, and then click on one of the push pins on the north side of the island. You can see pictures there as well. How cool is that? So, I'm going to try to keep up with our travels as a family (obviously they aren't all in there yet). Hopefully it'll be fun to watch! Labels: aspen, family, lindy, maps, oakley
Looking cute
Nothing of importance, other than making up for a lack of pictures. Labels: jenn, lindy
